T.W. Food is everything great about fine dining. They regularly feature multi-course dinners with wine pairings, vegetarian tasting menus, and use local ingredients whenever possible. Right now, we're digging the wine nights.

TWF is in the same vein as Ten Tables (and founded by Ten Tables-affiliated folks), and while it took a bit to get its footing, these days, the foodie destination is on solid ground. From friendly service in a tiny space to intricate plates of decadent food, everything here shines. For many of us on a budget (which is nearly everyone these days), this is a place to save for special occasions, to keep tucked in the back of your mind until a unique date night is needed. We're particularly fond of their cheese plate, scrambled egg appetizer, their amazing desserts, and did we mention how much we love the wine? A good pair is always a win.

We love a prix fixe menu, which they're currently featuring for a cool $39. And right now, you can also stop in for their five-course meal centered completely around the black Perigord truffle. We sure hope you like mushrooms as much as we do. And maybe after a visit here, you'll be won over.
