Your Tri-Annual Hyde Park CF Donovan's Update
We've been here at MenuPages Boston for nigh on two years now and we've seen some big changes: we've welcomed an eighth city to the fold, we've become a part of the New York Media family, and we got souped up with an excellent redesign. Throughout all these changes, however, there has been one constant: people wondering when the Hyde Park location of Savin Hill's much-beloved C.F. Donovan's is going to open. Originally slated for November 2006, last time we checked, the Cleary Square location's opening was "imminent." Three plus months later, it's still not open.
Today brings us another clue! Per Chowhound this morning, the new location is all staffed up and ready to go. We're not trying to be suspicious, but, well, we've heard this before. As much as it pains us to say it, we're predicting that we'll have another "when will it open" update in May. Go ahead, C.F. Donovan's. Prove us wrong.
