Dorado Tacos will take over the spot formerly occupied by the recently-closed Ruth’s Kitchen, reports the Brookline TAB Blog. Dorado will be the seventh taqueria to open up in Brookline, which is already a little nuts, but it gets more intense. The old Ruth’s Kitchen space is a mere block away from Anna’s Taqueria, the unquestioned queen of Brookline’s burrito scene. Unless Dorado Tacos does something big to stand out (there’s some speculation it might be kosher, which would certainly help it out on Harvard Street), it may wind up just being another Brookline taqueria lost in the shuffle.
