Michael Schlow Takes It To the 'Burbs
Michael Schlow is looking to open a new restaurant on Route Nine in Westborough, reports the MetroWest Daily News. While the as-yet-unnamed restaurant wouldn't be Schlow's first suburban venture (that honor belongs to Alta Strada), distinctly unfashionable Westborough, where the restaurants are mostly chains, is an odd choice for the man behind uber-chic Radius and Via Matta. Given his soon-to-be Top Chef Masters celebrity, however, it seems probable that Schlow can make it work even in the boondocks.
