Teranga Finally Serving Senegalese in South End

Long-awaited Senegalese restaurant Teranga is now open on Washington Street in the South End, according to a Chowhounder. Teranga, originally scheduled to open in April 2008, is Boston’s first Senegalese restaurant, although Bytes occasionally offers specials from the West African country. Look for traditional dishes like Senegalese lamb chops, rich with an onion-mustard sauce, and ceebu jen, fish and rice in a rich peanut-oil-infused tomato sauce.
