Frank McClelland Has a Farm (and Apple Street Is Its Name-O)

Apple Street Farm.jpg
Frank McClelland, of L'Espalier and Sel De La Terre, has joined the ranks of chef/farmers like Garden at The Cellar's Will Gilson with his new Essex venture, Apple Street Farm. The crops from the 80 acre farm will produce food for McClelland's restaurants and for Sel De La Terre's stand at the new Prudential Farmers' Market. McClelland's most recent email blast reveals that he just brought five pounds of French breakfast radishes and plenty of greens to L'Espalier, so stop by tonight to taste the bounty.

  • Hi. The farm has less than 20 acres, not 80.
