The Boston chef boy’s club that includes Will Gilson, Louis DiBiccari, and Anthony Susi isn’t the only chef crew in town, reports the Globe. In response to the group’s annual all-male hunting trip, thirteen of the Hub’s top women in the food industry recently went on a fishing trip with no guys (other than the boat staff) allowed. The trip, organized by Nebo’s Carla and Christine Pallotta, included luminaries like flour bakery + cafe’s Joanne Chang, Aura’s Rachel Klein, and Top Chef season one runner-up Tiffani Faison, now a sous chef at O Ya. Though the chefs didn’t catch any fish, plenty of grilled shrimp, sandwiches, and frozen mojitos were consumed.
