Central Square will get its first high-end wine shop when Central Bottle Wine & Provisions opens in the old Necco factory this fall. Central Bottle, the brainchild of four Cantabrigian friends (including former East Coast Grill GM Maureen Rubino and The Blue Room owners Liz Vilardi and Nick Zappia), will offer organic and biodynamic wines, microbrew and craft beers, and gourmet food items. The shop’s owners hope to regularly bring in local chefs for wine and food tastings. Central Bottle hopes to open on October 15.
