Embattled roast beef chain Banjos will open in Cambridge, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. Banjos’ Weymouth and Brockton locations recently closed and its Cambridge branch had been on hold for some time, but work in the Mass Ave space has began again. Between Banjos and the recently announced Kelly’s Roast Beef in Allston, could a roast beef trend, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since Buzzy’s closed in 2007, be on the rise in Boston again?
