Good news for Chicago ex-pats: Goose Island beer is now available in the Hub, reports Beer Nut. The craft Chicago brewery has chosen seven beers to be sold on draft and at stores in Boston and Cambridge, with full market expansion planned for 2010. Of the beers now available, GS Chicago’s Helen recommends the Pere Jaques, Matilda, and Sofie, the last of which she calls “spectacular.” The Goose Island beers are popping up throughout the city, including at Southie’s New Bay View Liquors and Publick House Provisions.
