What to Eat at The Beacon Grille, Opening Soon in Woburn

The Beacon Grille, a 300 seat (!) steakhouse, will open on Route 128 in Woburn next month. The restaurant plans to offer fine dining in the evenings and an express lunch during the day, according to a hiring post on Craigslist. Prices aren’t bad, with a twelve ounce sirloin running $24 and pizzettas available for $11 or less. Desserts are enjoyably old-fashioned, with a fruit cup and a bag of homemade cookies both on offer for a mere $2.50 at lunch. Nothing’s wildly innovative, but you could do much worse in that part of Middlesex County.
