Over six months after Brian Konefal’s departure, Bina Osteria has hired a new chef. Bruno Ariel Guadagnin was previously employed as chef de cuisine at Pisa’s Le Vele della Repubblica, where his food was characterized by the Michelin guide as “high-quality.”

Guadagnin is already working on developing a completely new menu at Bina, spokesperson Elizabeth Lesczae tells Grub Street. The menu is expected to be unveiled next week. An Italian chef seems to be a good bet for Bina Osteria; after all, Konefal left because he didn’t want to heed to owner Azita Bina-Seibel’s traditional Italian concept.
