Despite the fact that The Kells has housed three violent incidents since September, including a fatal stabbing, the Boston Licensing Board declined to take any punitive action against the bar at a recent hearing, reports Universal Hub.

The Board did file two complaints and a warning against The Kells, but those are essentially meaningless unless there are future violations. So you can now add a fatal stabbing, a bar fight, and a woman throwing a stool at a bartender to the list of things that will not get your license revoked by the Daniel Pokaski-led BLB, right alongside overcharging patrons’ credit cards and putting customers in a chokehold. Nice job, Chairman Pokaski!
