After a lengthy hiatus, Chef Louie Night returns to Boston at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 11 in the old Great Bay space at the Hotel Commonwealth. The semi-regular event is a sort of democratic gorge-fest hosted by Sel De La Terre’s Louis DiBiccari: the public votes on the name of the main entree (this month’s choices: “Patty Cake, Patty Cake, Baker’s Man,” “Just an Island In the Sea,” and “I’m Frying Under This Sun!”) and two supplemental ingredients.
DiBiccari will be joined on April 11 by BFFs Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar and Toro’s Jamie Bissonnette, as well as by Island Creek (supplying the bivalves for the festivities) and Eastern Standard mixologist Jackson Cannon. Tickets are $38, plus a $5 donation to the Red Cross’ Haitian relief efforts.
