Rafiki Readies ‘Conscientious Consumption’ in Cambridge

Rafiki Bistro will take over the old Forest Cafe space, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. The bistro, from the owners of Central Square’s Clear Conscience Cafe, will taget “community members with conscientious consumption habits.” In practice, this seems to mean a focus on organic fare: think burgers made of everything from beef to ostrich to walnuts, and chicken tajine. All is not lost from the Forest Cafe days, however: per Rafiki’s website, they will offer a burrito. Oh, and good news for hungry Harvard Law students — free wi-fi will be available at all times.
