What to Eat at Blue Ginger Noodle Bar, Opening March 30

Wellesley's Blue Ginger will add a lunchtime noodle bar on March 30. The six dish menu was born out of Ming Tsai's recent trip to Japan, after which he realized that "currently, there are no noodle shops in the suburbs where you can find a soul-satisfying bowl of noodles." The Noodle Bar will be located in Blue Ginger's lounge. Each of the dishes, listed below, costs $12, making it one of the cheapest ways to dine at Blue Ginger.

Ramen Noodle Soups
House Miso Ramen
Bean sprouts, scallions, bamboo shoots and choice of sliced pork or chicken
Spicy Pork Miso Ramen
Bean sprouts, scallions, bamboo shoots and spicy ground pork
Garlic-Miso Ramen
Bean sprouts, scallions, bamboo shoots, roasted garlic and poached egg

Stir Fried Noodles
All served with onions, cabbage, scallions, bell peppers and carrots
Pad Thai
Rice noodles with egg and tamarind sauce and choice of shrimp or chicken
Yakisoba
Ramen noodles with garlic-ginger-tamari sauce and choice of pork or chicken
Indonesian Curry
House Southeast Asian curry paste with soft Shanghai noodles and choice of shrimp or chicken
