What to Eat at Chez Jacky, Bringing Sweetbreads and Tripe to Brighton Soon

Chez Jacky, the Petit Robert Bistro spin-off, will open at 1414 Commonwealth just as soon as a few permitting issues are cleared up, manager Rob Vipond tells Grub Street. Chez Jacky's menu, below, is all about simple, home-style French cooking like escargot, roast pork with lentil stew, tripes Provençale, and a vol au vent of sweetbreads, champignon mushrooms, and veal. The prices are excellent: all entrees are $14.95 at dinner, and lunch tops out at $12.75.
