• Mat Schaffer gives American Craft a pleasant B: the "menu of beer-friendly, gastro pub fare is easy to like and easy on the pocketbook." [Herald]

• Robert Nadeau has a four star rave for Bergamot, which has "figured out how to do innovative and fancy fare at relatively modest price points, with solid but informal service. They incorporate some classics; some seasonal, local, and sustainable ingredients; and some visual stunners you want to photograph before munching — and deliver it all without breaking the relaxed mood." [Phoenix]

• Devra First ventures to Lincoln to award Aka Bistro two and a half stars: "Many of the French dishes are very good. Some are excellent. But it’s the sashimi that’s really transcendent." [Globe]

• MC Slim JB drops into Dorchester Haitian spot Griyo Lakay. It's a little confusing, but "for those willing to puzzle out its mysteries, Griyo Lakay offers a fine, generous sample of lovingly prepared Haitian cuisine in a very attractively priced package." [Phoenix]

• Cheap Eats tries Blue Asia Cafe, which is inconsistent, but "just what we want to eat." [Globe]
