We've got a sneak peek at Towne, the internationally-flavored Lydia Shire/Jasper White/Mario Capone restaurant opening in Hynes Convention Center next week. The space is expansive, with red banquets and massive but casual chandeliers. Of note: the place settings are lovely, but casual. This is not the look of a restaurant that takes itself too seriously. Between this and Sam's, Boston has a pleasant trendlet of upscale restaurateurs opening laid back places happening.
