Good news, smoosh-in super fans: Northampton-based chain Herrell’s Ice Cream “really wants” to return to Boston, according to the Globe. Though Herrell’s Allston and Harvard Square locations shuttered last year, owner Judy Herrell is currently scouting spots in the Theater District, Harvard Square, Brookline, and near the Boston Medical Center and Aquarium. If all goes well, you could be munching on cones of Tipsy Cake Batter again by spring 2011.
