Menton Hosts Scent Dinner; Free Parfaits in Harvard Square

Beacon Hill: On Tuesday evenings beginning September 14, Lala Rokh and Bin 26 will launch progressive $49 four-course dinners. Start with two courses at Lala Rokh and then head to Bin 26 to finish the meal. [Grub Street]

Brookline: Lineage will host a summer cocktail dinner featuring the talents of Jackson Cannon, Bob McCoy, and Joy Richard on September 8. Admission is $45. [Grub Street]

Fort Point: Menton will host a scent dinner featuring New York Times perfume critic Chandler Burr. $250 gets you a five course dinner, each course paired with a perfume lecture related to the food in question, as well as hors d’oeuvres and a cocktail. [Grub Street]

Government Center: Woodward’s August Cocktail War will take place at 8 p.m. on August 29 and will pit Coppa’s Mary Edes against Emily Stanley of Craigie On Main. As always, admission is free, as are the hors d’oeuvres. [Grub Street]
