It just became a little easier to be a locavore wino. Yesterday, Governor Patrick signed a bill allowing the sale of local wine at farmers' markets into law, reports the Mattapoisett Sentinel. The bill, which we originally reported on exactly a year ago (spooky!), mandates that farmers' markets will have to get liquor licenses. Farmers' market winemongers will also be required to card consumers, so sorry, underage New England wine enthusiasts.
