The search for America’s top bartender will continue on the third season of On The Rocks. And this year, Boston has a stronghold in the competition, making up a quarter of the contenders. Trina Strum of Trina’s Starlight Lounge and “English Bill” Codman of Woodward Tavern are two of the eight competitors, according to drinkboston.com. Taping is currently taking place in LA, and while Bostonians may mourn the absence of two of the city’s notable bartenders, they can look forward to cheering them on in their battle for the $100,00 grand prize starting October 30th. The NBC–aired show holds a post-SNL slot, but not on local stations. But don’t despair, you can still follow the action online. Here’s to an Absolut Boston victory.
