Drink: not actually closed.
We saw some rather unsettling news this morning, in the form of a tweet from Bon Appétit restaurant editor (and perennial Iron Chef America judge) Andrew Knowlton: “WOW. Just heard Drink in Boston (one of america’s best cocktail spots) closed before XMAS cause it lost lease. After only 2yrs? Bummer.” Wait, really?
We thought, How could this be? That place is great! Oops! Turns out there’s no truth to the rumor. Drink’s alive and well and serving up Ramos Gin Fizzes just as they’ve always been. Knowlton later tweeted that the “friend” who started the rumor might have had it confused with some bar in Seattle. Which, like, phew!
