It’s a big 24 hours for Boston openings, what with New York’s 5 Napkin touching down at the Pru and Marc Orfaly’s much-anticipated Remick’s preparing to launch in Quincy. More details ahead.

5 Napkin will kick off dinner service today. A spokesperson tells Grub Street that lunch service will most likely begin on Monday. Read all about their new signature Beantown Burger, a maple-infused beef patty crowned with baked beans and sweet relish, here.

As we mentioned a couple months ago, Remick’s is the newest endeavor from Pigalle’s Marc Orfaly. There’s an invite-only bash tonight, followed by a formal opening tomorrow. We shared the Remick’s menu with you here; today, the Globe makes mention of Orfaly’s plans to offer family-style pig roasts, a trend embraced by other popular spots like Citizen Public House and Posto. (Orfaly’s pig feeds 10 and costs $300, notes the Herald.) We’re curious to see what Orfaly might have in store for Pigalle after he finishes with Remick’s.

Both are promising developments in areas that could stand more high-quality dining options. We’re just not quite sure which to try first … maple-infused beef downtown or a pig’s eye on the South Shore.
