At Casablanca, Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire

We hear that Harvard Square’s moody, lounge-a-licious Casablanca will now offer a nightly tapas menu, featuring dishes smoked on their new wood-fired smoker. The landmark restaurant, where Warhol star Edie Sedgwick once tried to drink illegally, has occasionally been known more for its people-watching than its food. Nonetheless: House-smoked lamb shoulder with charred tomatoes, spicy yogurt, grilled flatbread, and mint oil sounds worthwhile; so do tacos with smoked pulled lamb, fried baby chickpeas, and charmoula sauce. At $3 a pop, how could we get burned?
