Charlie’s Sandwich Shoppe (seen here on our heavily researched list of hangover hot spots) will soon appear on film. As such, you’ll have to recover elsewhere on May 12. Per the Herald, the restaurant will close down so that Mark Wahlberg can film scenes for the upcoming movie Ted, directed by Seth MacFarlane. (MacFarlane’s a New Englander himself, so we’re thinking he might have worked off a few rough nights at Charlie’s in the past.) Wonder if Wahlberg-backed Alma Nove will also make a cameo? [Herald]
