Reviews have been ho-hum for prime waterfront property Sam's here at Grub Street, we feared it was just one more mediocre waterfront restaurant. Franklin Southie's former chef Asia Mei has been tapped to overhaul the menu, and she's not shy about sharing her thoughts about the old regime. She tells The Feast that "they opened a year ago to pretty crappy food. Just not anywhere where it should be, compared to the rest of the space and with the clientele you would expect on the waterfront and at Louis [Boston]."
