The Butcher Shop Makes Sundays and Mondays Hurt A Little Less

It’s Barbara Lynch’s Butcher Shop to the rescue, taking the sting out of Sundays and Mondays with a new Burgers and Brews menu.

This summer from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m., they’ll offer a unique selection of burgers plus bottled and draft beers (a first). They’ll prepare a traditional burger ($16, festooned with mustard, ketchup, pickles, onions, cheese, bacon, Bibb lettuce) and a dry-aged number ($21, sporting Cabot Clothbound Cheddar, smoked tomato, aioli). Neither burger has been glimpsed on their menu before. Then there’s the tasty, well-loved TBS burger, hand-ground pasteurized beef served with cheddar, bacon, mayo and caramelized onions, hugged by a brioche bun from Hi-Rise. That one’s normally only available at lunch.

The beer selection will rotate every week; anticipate offerings like Rapscallion Honey Pale Ale on tap and cool bottles of Great Divide Hoss Lager. The fun lasts until August 8.
