Clancy’s in Dennisport took top honors at Chowderfest this weekend. But we’re surprised that more restaurants didn’t participate. We’d shell out good money for terrific chowder!
Clancy’s — a good hour and a half drive from Boston — beat out “five other restaurants,” as Forbes notes. That’s it? Five? We’re sure their chowder is simply lovely, but really? There’s so much delicious chowder in Boston!
The roster of competitors was curious, too: Faneuil Hall’s Anthem Kitchen + Bar, Chart House, Jerry Remy’s, and Mr. Dooley’s Boston Tavern were among the smattering of contestants.
