Common Ground Reopens; Carvel Makes a Comeback

Allston: Common Ground, which had temporarily closed, reopened yesterday. [BRT]

Citywide: Carvel is coming back to Boston! The chain plans to open a slew of Boston shops over the coming year, perhaps giving fro-yo a run for its money. Paging Dina Lohan! [BRT]

Roslindale: Haitian/French Bel Lounge has opened in Roslindale. Fritz Xavier, late of Boston’s Maison Robert, runs the kitchen. [Globe]

Arlington: The Madrona Tree, a casual Lebanese sandwich shop, will open on Broadway to replace the now-shuttered Gemma. It should open next week. [BRT]

Union Square: Journeyman has reopened after temporarily closing to recover from damage done by a car crash. [Earlier]

Copley: Turner Fisheries will donate 10 percent of all sales to New England Aquarium to help support its Sustainable Seafood Programs. The initiative lasts from August 8 until August 13. [Grub Street]

Downtown: Blue Inc. is now open for lunch. [Earlier]
