A Very Gruesome Delivery

The Globe reports that Shui Aeung “Tony” Woo, the vivacious longtime owner of Ipswich’s Majestic Dragon Chinese restaurant, was found murdered there yesterday morning. He was shot twice in the head and neck. Witnesses describe the crime scene as “horrific.” Friends suggest that the murder was a set-up; apparently Woo was known to count bags of cash in full view of patrons, and it was also common knowledge that he sometimes slept alone in the restaurant instead of trekking back to his home in Quincy after a long day of work. No, flaunting stacks of cash and sleeping alone in a restaurant probably aren’t practices endorsed by America’s Most Wanted, but the death is shocking nonetheless. Sad. [Globe]
