For those of you who long to spend Halloween night consuming something slightly more decadent than mini Snickers bars and candy corn, it’s Barbara Lynch to the rescue. She’s hosting a slightly offbeat soiree at No. 9 Park, followed by even more debauchery at Drink.

She’d like you to dust off your finest Venetian mask and make haste to the restaurant for a swank evening of stationary dining (assorted crudo, shellfish, Maiale al Latte) and passed Italian apps, wines, and seasonal libations, plus live entertainment. Tickets are $90; the festivities commence at 6:30 p.m. “Creative black tie” is encouraged, though not required.

Tomorrow night Drink celebrates Día de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, also known as an excuse to get tipsy with potent cocktails served by one of our favorite bartenders, Misty Kalkofen. We’re used to bars lined with paramours lost, but here the bar will be transformed into an altar festooned with photos of departed loved ones. Drinks and bites showcase Mexican spirits ‘n spices — fish tacos, chicken skewers, tamales, and potent South of the border spirits, all beginning at 4 p.m.
