Exciting news for the hard-working, frighteningly intuitive mixologists over at Drink: The bar has been named one of the top ten drinking spots in the world by the very reputable imbibers at Drinks International. It’s the only Boston bar to make the list; a handful of spots in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco also got nods.
It’s good timing, because not long ago we asked Jose Andres about his favorite places to libate in the city. Guy’s so busy, he definitely needs a few stiff drinks to unwind, right? And when in Boston (lecturing at Harvard, chances are), he heads straight across the bridge to Barbara Lynch’s cocktail cavern.
“[It’s the] best cocktail place in America,” he told Grub Street through a rep. Or, according to Drinks International, third-best. Only PTD and Death & Co., both in New York, came out ahead. See the full list of worldwide winners right here.
