Today everyone’s buzzing about Hawthorne, the highly anticipated cocktail lair from Jackson Cannon. (For ganders at the space, take a look at today’s nice dispatches from Chowder and Urban Daddy; UD likens Cannon’s “cocktail domicile” to “Paul Newman’s pad circa 1975,” while Chowder hails the lack of televisions, top-flight staff, and the spirit-lined bookcase.) The website’s still under construction, but we got a look at their menu from mock service this weekend.
It’s not the final-official-ultimate-Paul Newman version, but it’s a tasty glimpse of what surely lies ahead for the Hotel Commonwealth’s newest resident, located in the old Foundation Lounge space. Feast your eyes, below.
