Tonight’s Stylish Marriage: Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, KO Catering & Pies, and 2011 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau

Sometimes it's good to be a second-glass citizen.
Sometimes it’s good to be a second-glass citizen.

If you couldn’t get into tonight’s Infinium tasting at Sam Adams in JP, we have a very respectable Plan B: Eat grilled cheese and meat pies while swilling wine with Artists for Humanity!

Sometimes it’s good to be a second-glass citizen.

Word is that “graffiti-covered Pedi-cabs” will deposit the just-released 2011 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau at Artists for Humanity headquarters in Southie. There’ll be art stations, a photo booth, and complimentary cuisine from our pals at Roxy’s Grilled Cheese and KO Catering and Pies. Grilled cheese, meat pies, and wine: Could anything be finer?

The event is put on by the swanky wine-lovin’ pros at Second Glass; tickets are a mere $25, and a portion of the proceeds benefit Artists for Humanity. In keeping with the theme, the wine’s custom label was designed by Brooklyn-based graffiti guru Mr. Kaves (real name Mike McLeer). There’ll be a DJ, too. Check it out! Starts at 7 p.m. And, if you can’t make it, check out the other restaurants throughout the city who plan to pour the stuff.
