Grill, baby, grill!
News about the South End’s Zai yakitori: Our pals at BRT report via EveryBlock that they’ve been awarded a business license; also, they’ve been advertising for staff on Craigslist, so hopefully a debut is in the offing. We have high hopes for the place: It’s from the same team behind the very good, nicely alliterative Snappy Sushi. As we noted a couple months ago, the restaurant was slated to launch in September. Looks like now it’ll open its doors right around the same time as Patricia Yeo’s Japanese spot, Moksa, in Central Square. Zai’s address is 315 Shawmut Ave. [BRT]
