The lovely local authoresses (Traverso’s Apple Lover’s Cookbook came out in September; Murray’s ode to oysters, Shucked, dropped in October) hold court at Mary Dumont’s Harvest in Harvard Square on Wednesday evening for a four-course themed dinner, with delicacies inspired by both books.
So expect lots of oysters and apples. At $39 per person, complete with wine, it’s a very nice deal; plus, the ladies themselves will be on hand to sign copies of their books. Dinner begins at 6 p.m.; call the restaurant for your reservation. Note: The restaurant does these themed dinners every month; next month it’s all about Taza Chocolate. Mmmm.
