Bella Luna hosts a pop-up bar on March 13 called Moon Shine, featuring (per an email to Grub Street) “whiskeys you never get to drink/never can afford” from around the world. Despite the fact that we promptly felt untraveled and poor (maybe they need this guy to handle their p.r.?), we read on.
A mere $30 gets you four whiskeys from various regions, plus food from everywhere, too: an Irish cheeseboard, grilled oysters with pickled ginger, bourbon pecans, short ribs. The event lasts from 7 p.m. ‘til 9; get yer tickets right here. And remember, urban moonshine is a thing now.
