Prepare to Eat an Oprah Waffle and Drink Like Lady Gaga Tomorrow

Gaga comes to Cambridge tomorrow.
Gaga comes to Cambridge tomorrow.

Lady Gaga will alight in Cambridge tomorrow to celebrate the launch of her anti-bullying Born This Way Foundation at Harvard (also making the scene: Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra). Harvard Square restaurants are getting in on the action with special promotions that benefit the foundation, and no, you don’t have to don a meat dress to participate (though we hear that prosciutto is really quite slimming!).

The fashion-forward UpStairs on the Square wants you to visit their bar dressed as Gaga for a glass of $6 rose, with proceeds going toward the Foundation, while Pinkberry will donate 20 percent of proceeds if you buy a medium Pinkberry. Grendel’s Den, meanwhile, has concocted “The Little Monster,” created by bartender (and Gaga fan) Dustin Frankus. The cocktail is made with Lady Gaga’s favorite whiskey, Jameson, plus Lillet and bitters. It’s $7.50, and $2 goes to Gaga. And, naturally, Zinneken’s has created a Lady Gaga and Oprah waffle, which probably tastes better than it sounds. It has banana, whipped cream, dark chocolate, and caramel; buy one and $2 goes to a good cause. The rest goes to your waistline and causes nightmares. Check out all the participants right here, and plan your meals accordingly.
