On a hectic stretch of Route 93, with nothing but an enormous Target rising Phoenix-like in the distance, stands South Bay Plaza. But now we have another reason besides Missoni to brave the gridlock traffic: An Asian supermarket where Super 88 once stood.
BRT notes via Chowhound that Kam Man will sell Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese groceries. Better yet, it might also sell hot meals to go. It's slated to open on February 9. Sigh! If only Hi-Lo grocery could move into the same location! [BRT via Chowhound]
