Luscious sushi documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi, which profiles 85-year-old sushi master Jiro Ono, officially premieres in Cambridge on April 6. But, psst: There’s a sneak preview happening in Belmont on March 29! Here’s how to see the film that Grub Street calls “equal parts funny, touching, inspiring, and food porn-y.”

Belmont’s Studio Cinema hosts the preview (get tickets here), and there’s also a pre-film sushi dinner hosted by sake expert Lloyd Foster from Classic Wine Imports. Peter Grilli, president of the Japan Society of Boston, will also speak.

The deadline to buy tickets is March 26, so make haste! And, if you can’t make the sneak preview, take comfort in knowing that the movie officially debuts on April 6 at the Kendall Square Cinema.
