Hola, and welcome to today's edition of Good Mexican Food News, Bad Mexican Food News. First, the good news. Rosa Mexicano is now open at the Seaport, so you have a place to go when the wait at Temazcal is three hours long.

And now the bad news: Multiple sources report that Beacon Hill's displaced Villa Mexico, which was trying to relocate and had a very successful Kickstarter campaign, has been denied relocation to 12 Grove Street, a mere 100 feet away from its original digs. (Villa's former home, Grampy's gas station, is being razed.)

The Boston Zoning Board of Appeals denied their application amid concerns that a "take-out restaurant did not fit the environment of the residential street," Boston.com says. Sad, sad, sad. We had high hopes that Beacon Hill would stay spicy.
