A new Indian/Pakistani restaurant will move into the abandoned Namaskar space, says Boston Restaurant Talk. It's been a tough time for Indian restaurants in the 'hood: First Namaskar shuttered, then Diva Lounge closed to make way for Amsterdam Falafel (not that we're complaining ... that toppings station is heavenly!). Meanwhile, Eater Boston notes that the restaurant portion of Diva is in hot water for possible wage violations. On a happier note, Punjabi Grill seems like a fairly innocuous establishment, with the Globe claiming that the food is very authentic. Hopefully they also pay their employees. [Patch, BRT]
