Davis Square’s Fro-Yo-a-Go-Go

Is Davis Square the new Newbury Street? Possibly! Hot on the heels of iYo cafe opening on Elm Street, the Patch reports that Orange Leaf will open just up the block at the Davis Square Plaza, which also houses a Starbucks and a very pleasant tattoo parlor.

They’ll also open branches in Newton and Melrose soon (a Lexington branch launched recently, too). Have you been? Is it delicious? They definitely have a lot of flavors, according to their website, including curiosities like Taro and Eggnog. Hmm.

Still, diehard ice cream lovers will be gratified to know that Q’s Nuts has opened a brick-and-mortar shop at the corner of Highland and Willow avenues. In addition to tasty pecans and cashews, they’ll sell Christina’s ice cream.
