Our friends at Bondir tell us that they'll host an opera on November 13, capitalizing on the success of their Asparagus Opera last spring (listen to a clip right here). Sensing Terroir: A Harvest Food Opera includes a five-course menu from New England farms, accompanied by drinks and "personal sound pairings."
You will become "sensually immersed in the story of sustainable food practices. Interviews and field recordings from New England farms are set in a musical framework, establishing a virtual terroir that provides an environmental context for food consumption." Dinner is $125.
