The other day we mentioned that Salem diners need to behave on Halloween, lest they get banned from the town's restaurants. The same should probably apply to restaurant owners. The Herald reports that Jesus Franco, who owns Thai restaurant Bangkok Paradise, has been nabbed in a massive oxycodone sting. The odd part: Bangkok Paradise is where Salem's restaurant woes bubbled over in the first place, complete with stabbings and orgiastic brawls.
Bangkok Paradise was reportedly the site of two “controlled buys." Not only has the restaurant fallen from favor with cops; it's also drawn heat from enraged, yet oddly prescient, Yelp! scribes: "Why have the police not yet shut down this festering slimehole?"
