It's so hard to find good help these days: Lynn A. Scheufler her husband, and Craig L. Galligan, allegedly used $1.4 million they embezzled from Big Night to to gamble at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. The Globe notes that Scheufler was the CFO of BNEG, the company that has brought you dining destinations like GEM, Red Lantern, and most recently Empire.
The couple are accused of thieving more than $2.5 million from the company. Needless to say, she's been fired and probably won't be enjoying GEM's Russian dressing tater tots, or any big nights out at all, any time in the near future. [Courant]
