Good news, fans of Davis Square's Painted Burro: They're opening another restaurant! A rep for PB tells Grub Street said that the Burro Bar will open this winter. It's described as a "fun and lively" place focusing on craft beers, craft cocktails and a wide variety of tequila. On Saturday and Sundays, it will be open from 10 a.m. until 1 a.m., and weekdays it will be open from from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. The dinner menu will be the same as the Painted Burro, and the lunch menu will feature Mexican sandwiches and tortas. Excitingly, there will also be games like Mexican Bingo and darts. Stay tuned for an opening date. As Eater Boston noted this morning, Spike's is currently next door to the Painted Burro; no word on their fate.
