Here’s a good way to fail a restaurant health inspection: The Red Flower Chinese restaurant in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is under investigation for wheeling a dead deer through the dining room. An alarmed patron called police after seeing the animal rolling toward the kitchen in a garbage can, leaving a trail of blood. (Another patron reportedly fled the restaurant to “upchuck.”) The owner’s son confessed to finding the deer on the side of a highway and didn’t realize he was doing anything wrong. “That makes me concerned,” says the county’s health inspector in what might possibly be the year’s biggest understatement. Needless to say, the restaurant is currently closed. [WYMT]
